Landhaus Carstens in Timmendorfer Strand

This is where the Corona character comes out. Couldn't arrive from Duisburg because the hotel required proof of corona, but we couldn't get it at short notice. Have charged us the full cancellation fee, without goodwill, without voucher, etc. Addendum: The cancellation costs were only reimbursed after I called a lawyer. This method catches on, many shy away from using legal advice and it works out.

A little poor on the last day before the shutdown. We had expected a little more than that.

Despite Corona everything was well organized with some restrictions. Even swimming pool and sauna possible with registration. Everything was very clean and hygienic. Underground parking space opposite possible for a fee. Bicycles can also be parked here.

We will also spend our next vacation here.

Very good food with top service, price performance absolutely justified.

Ideally located directly on the beach promenade. Here you can rent a beach chair by the hour or lie on your own towel on the beach. A beach snack can be used for a fish roll and a drink.

Hotel kept rustic and old, everything was clean. Staff very nice and accommodating. Pool planning a bit stupid always an hour per room. Breakfast was okay, nothing extraordinary. Standard discounter cold cuts and cheese only torn through, looked a bit "pitted", nothing fresh suffers from it (cucumber tomato etc.) Fruit salad could be ordered and was also good. However, a bit poor or simple for the price of the night.

I visited the restaurant, it was very delicious and I can only recommend it. 5 Stars !!

Great hotel, great breakfast unfortunately the service has a bit of trouble. If you forget some things, it only works after asking several times. But they are hard-working and very friendly.

Great hotel, relatively small but awesome. We have been here several times, whenever we are planning a “detour” to Timmendorfer Strand, we see whether there is a possibility of staying overnight here. We feel very comfortable here and the breakfast is perfect. Thank you ?

Hotel with very attentive and courteous service, great location right between the beach avenue and the promenade. You can't get closer to the beach. Room with a wonderful view over the sea.

Since my mom and grandma visited me from the east, we went to eat with you for the first time ? just the greeting from the kitchen that was given beforehand was a dream, we had fish and were absolutely thrilled, this was a recommendation from Ms. Betz who is very courteous and friendly, we'd love to come back?

We went there twice during our vacation and it was excellent both times ?Both the food as well as the service. So compliments to the kitchen and the lovely courteous service. Everything very, very great ?

I have to say right away that I was the only one of 7 people who was really dissatisfied. The reason for me: there was only one vegetarian meal for lunch which was offered. This would not actually be the problem if it hadn't been "messed up" with garlic and what really annoys me is that it was not even mentioned so that I was able to torture myself with stomach pains for the rest of the day. Sorry, for me the food and service have completely failed.

Nice little hotel (33 rooms) Location right on the Baltic Sea, very big cinema. Our room, with balcony to the lake side, was large and of course super clean. On arrival roses, fruit, chocolates and cakes (from the in-house baker and pastry chef) in the room. Nice spa area, in the swimming pool you can even pull a few laps. Delicious food had been in the restaurant. Staff by the bank very friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

Very nice hotel with excellent breakfast. The annex is a very nice building to stay in. Don't forget to use the pool!

The Landhaus Carstens we have visited in the last three years very often. In every season we enjoyed the stay very much. For Nikolaus we stayed with several people in the hotel and had dinner. The food was very well prepared! The service is very attentive and technically top! We will be back!

It is a wonderful place to be! Their breakfast is an all-you-can-eat buffet. It is scrumptious!
